“Initiatives to support employee wellbeing are no longer seen as a ‘nice to have’ but as an essential differentiator” Deloitte 2018.

Good mental health is key to ensuring people are resilient to any challenges life may throw at them. It is often the difference between surviving and thriving. An individual with high resilience is able to think more clearly, focus for longer, remain optimistic and support others around them – even when situations may be demanding or challenging.

The Challenge of Change Resilience course focuses on the mental / emotional components (Taha Hinengaro) of Mason Durie’s model of health – Te Whare Tapa Whā.

We identify patterns that make us susceptible to turning pressure into stress and help participants build new habits of thinking.  A self-assessment profile provides participants with insight into what triggers stress for them personally, and how that presents itself in both their work and personal lives.  For many this is a significant “a-ha” moment.
