Development Post a Significant Merger
Two years after a significant merger, the SLT of a large Government organisation recognised that it needed to invest in its own development to:
- Shift the operating model.
- Build collaborative ways of working across the organisation to deliver more value.
- Increase agility in decision making and resource allocation.
Over a period of three years, the team sustained a quarterly one-day commitment to their development focusing on their team dynamics and key strategic issues.

Transition
A partner in a professional services firm having recently taken on the Service Line Leader role, restructured from a regional to national leadership focus. CATALYST4 helped accelerate the transition by helping the partners identify the key elements of their new national role, clarifying the unique value they needed to add, and agreeing key behaviours that would support working collaboratively.
Key Tension Between MD and Executive Team
Key tensions between the MD and members of the executive team, as well as tension between key functional heads was severely hampering organisational performance. CATALYST4 (in conjunction with a partner) worked to identify the team’s shared purpose, the work that was best done together (vs. that which was best done in smaller groups) and facilitated honest (and difficult) conversations that helped re-establish trust and productive ways of handling conflict.
